RIP Great Fir

Posted in Blog

Very mixed feelings about taking down this fir in front of our house. After all, it was here first, before some dummy planted the house so close to it that its roots would buckle the garage floor, its needles rot the cedar roof, clog the gutters, find their way into the house sneaking a ride on errant shoes. Not the tree’s fault.

Nader says no guilt – he planted over 400 Douglas Firs on the farm he had.

Still hard.
